We are the Cumberland County organization of retired educators. We are closely affiliated with Maine Educators Association – Retired (MEA-R). We’ve been in existence for more than fifty years, making a difference in the lives of our members, new teachers, legislation and those for whom we volunteer.

Our focus is on the following issues:

• discussion and promotion of social issues concerning the professional and economic status of retirees;
• providing scholarships for future teachers;
• seven monthly mid-day meals for socializing and entertainment;
• supporting retirees, caring and encouraging one another;
• volunteering.
